Building Healthy Relationships with Conflict Resolution and Emotional Intelligence Coaching
If my gate were…
If my gate were left open… My friend Trese posted a photo on her FB page of a dog running for his life, the caption said, “run, like someone left the gate open.” This made me think, what if my gate was left open? what would I do? If you know me, you know that I have this insatiable need to decide what I want to be when I grow up. A year ago I completed masters work in the area of dispute resolution and conflict management from SMU in Dallas, TX. This area of study has my name all over it, there are never-ending complex issues that arise within this discipline that keep me intrigued and moving. The issue now is where do I focus my efforts in creating a growing practice? I have tons of experience and interest in a few areas- Law, as a paralegal and a mediator and in fitness, as a dancer and all around fitness buff which led me to get certified as a personal fitness trainer.
Another insatiable focus (or sickness as I often refers) is that I have the mind of an entrepreneur, I am a visionary when it comes to launching a business, or knowing how and where to network, but in reality it is one of the most difficult things to do, because of the rejection that comes from always asking and never getting business. But being a mom of 3 it makes sense to work for yourself to have that flexibility to be available for them when they need you most.
So, if my gate were left open, I know exactly what I would do…
The photo is of a schnoodle (which is what I have) and he looks just like Jack when he is poised to make a big run like there are no fences and the world is his. I am poised, I just have not yet sprung. stay connected to this blog to find out and journey with me as I allow God to open doors and help me do just what i was meant to.
Also, let me in on what you would (or have already done) if your gate were left open.
